Fantalgo's goal is to develop fast algorithms that have an immediate impact on your work.

We seek to work with other vendors of scientific and business software and give them the ability to harness the power of carefully developed, high quality fast multipole software to dramatically speed-up their applications.

Already in beta testing are

  • FMM for accelerating sums of Laplace multipoles in 3D
  • FMM accelerated BEM for the Laplace equation in 3D
  • FMM for accelerating sums of Helmholts multipoles in 3D
  • FMM accelerated BEM for the Helmholts equation in 3D
  • FMM for radial basis function interpolation in 2D and 3D

Under development are (see here for preliminary results)

  • FMM software for Laplace multipoles in 3D on NVIDIA® CUDA™ 

    (In preliminary testing we can achieve a sum of one million particles in one second at single precision accuracy in one second -- this computation would require about 20 Tera floating point operations if done directly)
  • A general purpose scientific library for development using Fortran-9x and MATLAB on NVIDIA® CUDA
